Developed by Jason de Koff, assistant professor of Agronomy and Soil Science at Tennessee State University, with funding from a U.S. Department of agriculture -, National Institute of Food and Agriculture Capacity Building Grant, the lesson presents an overview of bioenergy; a lab activity in which students investigate which kind of organic material, or feedstock, yeast prefers to make ethanol, a biofuel; and a bingo game that can be used to produce biodiesel. |
