|Summary:||This program sends preK-college teachers, museum and aquarium educators, and adult education teachers to sea aboard NOAA research and survey ships. Participants conduct fisheries research, oceanographic research, or hydrographic surveys under the tutelege of NOAA scientists. Following their voyages - which can last from one week to one month - teachers bring the research and knowledge they've gained back to their classrooms. Most educators sail over the summer, though trips are available year-round.|
