Summary:There is water all over Earth in different forms. By far, most of the planet's water is in the oceans, but it is in other places as well. Sometimes water is a liquid, sometimes it is a solid, and sometimes it is a gas. These changes in the states of matter are the result of the water either gaining or losing energy. These changes are very important in the water cycle. In this activity, students will use a model to investigate the Earth's water cycle.
