Summary:Essential Question: How can I improve my community watershed... starting with my own schoolyard? It may be possible to make changes to the land that will improve your watershed. As you learned earlier, such changes are called conservation practices. Your goal is to reduce as much runoff as possible from your schoolyard. Note that you must make sure that your schoolyard can support all of the activities you currently have, or explain why those activities are no longer necessary.
